We are Howgills House, an exclusive-use country house in Sedbergh, Cumbria, set between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Surrounded by the Howgill Fells, we provide a private and flexible setting for groups looking to celebrate, reconnect, work or simply enjoy time together. Our 12 individually styled en-suite bedrooms can accommodate up to 28 guests, while our spacious communal areas give everyone plenty of room to gather or relax separately. We have an open-plan lounge, TV lounge, upstairs snug, library and dining room, together with a fully equipped commercial kitchen for self-catering or catered stays. For corporate groups, we provide high-speed Wi-Fi, a projector, whiteboard and flip charts, making us suitable for meetings, retreats and team-building stays. Outside, guests can enjoy two hot tubs, a gazebo, outdoor seating, a pizza oven and countryside views. We also offer activities and catering options through trusted local providers, helping us create flexible group experiences tailored to each stay.
