Owen House Wedding Barn is our family-run, bespoke wedding venue set on a working farm in the Cheshire countryside. Our barn was lovingly converted in 2013 while retaining its rustic countryside character, and we offer couples an exclusive wedding experience from the ceremony through to the evening reception. We have an on-site Civil Ceremony Room, a main Wedding Barn, a fully stocked bar and space for up to 200 guests for a seated wedding breakfast and up to 250 guests for an evening reception. We also provide on-site accommodation for wedding guests, including our Birds and Bees bridal suite, as well as dedicated preparation spaces such as our Beauty Shed and Baa-BER Shed. Our Shooting Gallery provides a dedicated photographic space, while our Break Out Room gives guests somewhere quiet to relax. We work with selected catering and wedding suppliers to help couples create a personalised wedding day.
Our main Wedding Barn is the heart of Owen House Wedding Barn. Lovingly converted in 2013, it combines rustic countryside character with space for your wedding breakfast and evening celebration. We can seat up to 200 guests for the wedding breakfast and accommodate up to 250 guests for the evening reception.
Our Civil Ceremony Room sits next to the main Wedding Barn and is fully licensed for ceremonies conducted by Cheshire East Council. Styled with fairy-light curtains, the room can accommodate up to 150 people and can be personalised for your ceremony.
Our Beauty Shed gives the bridal party a dedicated place to prepare on site. We provide salon chairs, Cloud 9 hairdryers, tea and coffee facilities, a large shower room, complimentary towels and a prosecco fridge.
Our Baa-BER Shed is designed for the groom and his groomsmen to get ready and relax. It includes a vintage barber chair, showers, toilets, soft seating, a beer fridge, table football, a PACMAN machine, Wi-Fi and a 40-inch screen.
