Ashton Memorial

Set within 54 acres of beautiful parkland, we provide a distinctive setting for weddings, civil partnerships and private celebrations in Lancaster. Our Grade I listed Ashton Memorial combines historic architecture with marble floors, sweeping staircases and panoramic views across Morecambe Bay and the surrounding countryside. We offer the ground floor for licensed marriage ceremonies, while couples and their guests can enjoy exclusive access to the building and its first-floor viewing gallery during their booking. For evening events, we provide the Memorial as a room-only venue with dedicated Williamson Park staff overseeing the hire. Our surrounding parkland also provides excellent opportunities for photographs and outdoor time before or after an event. External caterers can be arranged for evening functions, allowing organizers to create a celebration suited to their requirements.
