Grey College is a distinctive Durham University venue where we combine historic collegiate character with practical conference and event facilities. Located on South Road, we sit within landscaped grounds and offer impressive views towards Durham Cathedral. Our purpose-built Holgate House provides a dedicated conference centre with a main meeting room and smaller breakout rooms, making us well suited to residential conferences, meetings, training and workshops. We can also host larger private dining and banqueting events in our elegant Dining Hall, which accommodates up to 250 guests during University vacations. For smaller gatherings, our Pennington Room provides an intimate setting for up to 22 people. We offer on-site catering, accommodation, Wi-Fi, audiovisual facilities, breakout areas and event support. During vacation periods, our residential facilities allow conferences of up to 80 delegates to stay within the College. Our combination of accommodation, meeting facilities, dining and historic surroundings makes us a versatile setting for corporate, academic and social events.
