Set between York and Harrogate in the North Yorkshire countryside, Skipbridge Country Weddings is a family-run venue at Skipbridge Farm, surrounded by open farmland and a smallholding with animals. Our wedding setup centres around two giant tipis and a smaller chill-out tipi, creating a relaxed outdoor setting for ceremonies, dining and evening celebrations. We hold a civil ceremony licence, with ceremonies taking place beneath the Willow Bower and its mature willow tree. Inside the tipis, we provide farmhouse tables, chairs, a dance floor, fairy lights, a giant mirror ball and outdoor furniture. Our Rolling Barrel bar sits alongside the tipi, while the Grain Silo offers a separate late-evening space for drinks and conversation. Silo 3 provides wood-fired pizzas for evening catering. Guests can also stay on site across our cottages, Wally's Wagon and glamping options, with accommodation for up to 50 people. Our team helps with the practical details throughout the wedding weekend.

Willow Bower

Willow Bower is our licensed outdoor ceremony setting beneath the willow tree, where couples can hold their civil marriage ceremony surrounded by the countryside at Skipbridge Farm.

Grain Silo

Grain Silo is our late-evening bar and social space, open from 9pm until midnight. Guests can settle around the fire with drinks, conversation and live acoustic entertainment.

Chill-Out Tipi

Chill-Out Tipi gives guests a quieter place to sit and relax away from the main celebration, while remaining close enough to the tipis and other wedding activities.
