We are Black Horse Beamish, a historic 300-year-old estate set within the beautiful Beamish countryside at Red Row Estate in County Durham. Our property combines traditional character, modern event facilities and peaceful countryside surroundings, creating a versatile setting for both social and corporate occasions. We offer a charming pub and restaurant, on-site accommodation and dedicated event spaces for gatherings of different sizes. Our George Ridley Suite provides an intimate setting for smaller celebrations, meetings and private occasions, while our Orchard Marquee offers a much larger and highly flexible environment for weddings, conferences, parties, gala dinners and corporate functions. Our events team works closely with organisers to tailor catering, room layouts and event arrangements to their requirements. Guests can also enjoy our countryside views, outdoor spaces, on-site parking, free Wi-Fi and accommodation. With Newcastle and Durham both within convenient driving distance, we provide a peaceful alternative to city-centre venues.
Our George Ridley Suite is an intimate rustic space featuring original stone walls, exposed beams, high ceilings, open fireplaces and access to the Gallery Bar and heated terrace, accommodating up to 40 guests for private events.
Our Orchard Marquee is our large permanent event space, featuring its own bar, catering facilities, dance floor, toilets, chandeliers, integrated sound system and countryside views, making it ideal for large celebrations and corporate events.
