University of Huddersfield Conference & Events

@xhkj4a

A wide choice of academic, professional and contemporary spaces gives us the flexibility to host events of many different scales across the Queensgate campus. Rather than operating from a single conference building, we draw on meeting rooms, classrooms and lecture theatres throughout the University of Huddersfield, allowing organisers to select spaces that match the purpose and size of their event. Our largest available spaces can accommodate up to 280 attendees, while smaller rooms provide more focused environments for meetings, seminars, training sessions and presentations. Our facilities combine modern academic buildings with historic university spaces, giving organisers a choice between contemporary surroundings and more traditional settings. We have extensive experience supporting conferences and professional programmes, alongside lectures, workshops, school events, service conferences, VIP lunches and dinners, charity activities and community gatherings. Our 2026 programme includes the Society for Music Production Research conference. Technology is an important part of our event service. Our spaces are equipped with audiovisual facilities and Wi-Fi, while our Campus Support team can assist with room preparation and different event layouts. University Catering Services provides hospitality for meetings and corporate events, with evening and weekend catering available by arrangement. Whether you are organising a conference, training programme, academic seminar, corporate meeting or multi-room event, our campus provides the scale, facilities and flexibility to build an event around your specific requirements.
