Neidpath Castle

We are a historic medieval castle overlooking the River Tweed, just outside Peebles in the Scottish Borders. We offer an atmospheric and private setting for weddings, corporate events, parties, special celebrations, filming and photography. Our castle can be hired exclusively, giving event organisers and their guests complete privacy while enjoying our historic interiors, dramatic surroundings and views across the Borders countryside. We welcome corporate groups for conferences, awards dinners, team-building activities and classes, while our wedding offering includes both indoor and outdoor ceremony options. Our facilities include the Laigh Hall, castle battlements, vaulted cellars, former guard house bar and surrounding grounds. We also provide accommodation across several properties at Neidpath and the nearby Barns Estate, allowing guests to extend their stay. Our Walled Garden Marquee at Barns is available from May to October for weddings and other events. We combine historic character, exclusive use and countryside surroundings to create a distinctive setting for memorable private and corporate occasions.
