Bodmin Jail Hotel

Bodmin Jail Hotel is our unique boutique hotel housed within a meticulously restored 18th-century prison in the heart of Cornwall. We combine the character and history of this remarkable building with contemporary comfort, luxury accommodation and attentive hospitality. Our distinctive setting provides a memorable backdrop for meetings, conferences, private celebrations, corporate dinners, weddings and exclusive-use events. We offer several event spaces, ranging from intimate private Meeting Rooms for smaller groups to our Governor’s Lounge and the dramatic Chapel Restaurant for larger gatherings. Our Chapel Restaurant provides an atmospheric setting for private events, receptions and dinners, while our private dining facilities create a more intimate experience. Guests can also enjoy our Lounge Bar, luxury accommodation and 24-hour fitness facilities during their stay. For weddings, we can make the entire hotel available exclusively, allowing couples and their guests to enjoy a private multi-day celebration. We bring together history, hospitality, dining and events in one distinctive Cornish destination.
