Ilkley Playhouse

Ilkley Playhouse provides a welcoming and flexible venue in the heart of Wharfedale, where we bring together theatre, arts, entertainment and community events. Our facilities include the Wharfeside Theatre, Wildman Studio, Greenroom, Sheridan Suite and a comfortable bar, giving us options for both large performances and smaller gatherings. Our Wharfeside Theatre seats 145 people and is equipped with sound and lighting systems, a digital projector and screen, hearing loop and wheelchair access. Our Wildman Studio provides a flexible performance environment for audiences of 80 to 120, with its own sound and lighting system, hearing loop and wheelchair access. The Greenroom and Sheridan Suite give us bright, adaptable spaces overlooking the River Wharfe and Middleton Woods, with a fully equipped kitchen available for hire. We also offer our bar as a cosy hire space. We welcome performances, concerts, meetings, conferences, parties, classes, rehearsals and community activities.
