Ivanas Eco Resort is an eco-focused hospitality and leisure property in Ddundu, along the Gayaza–Kalagi Road in Mukono. Its offering combines accommodation, food and beverage, outdoor recreation, wellness and organised group activities within a nature-oriented resort setting. The property positions sustainability as a central part of its identity, with accommodation ranging from luxury tents to eco-friendly cottages and family suites. The accommodation programme includes private outdoor areas, balconies or terraces in applicable units, en-suite bathrooms, outdoor seating and, depending on the category, features such as kitchenettes or minibars, fireplaces and entertainment facilities. The resort's facilities extend beyond overnight accommodation into organised leisure and group experiences. Its activity programme includes swimming, canoeing, fishing and fish spotting, guided photography tours, camping, campfire experiences, team-building activities and use of the gardens for parties, gatherings and outdoor events. A bar and restaurant serves local Ugandan cuisine and drinks, while the wellness centre provides a sauna, steam room and massage services. The property also has a pool table within its lounge area, creating an additional indoor recreational facility for guests and groups. For event and corporate use, the resort's outdoor environment and organised team-building programme is available. The gardens are expressly presented as an event setting for parties, celebrations, gatherings and outdoor functions, while the resort's combination of accommodation, food and beverage, recreation, wellness and group activities allows residential retreats and team-building programmes to be structured around the same property. The resort also offers transport services as part of its package offering, supporting guests who require organised travel arrangements alongside their stay or activities.
The gardens are the clearest formal event area at Ivanas Eco Resort. The resort is known as a setting for parties, celebrations, gatherings and outdoor events, giving the property a dedicated open-air function area rather than relying solely on its accommodation or leisure facilities. The gardens can also be incorporated into broader residential retreats and group programmes, particularly where outdoor activities and team-building form part of the event schedule.
The Bar & Restaurant provides Ivanas Eco Resort with a dedicated indoor dining space that can also be configured for private functions and group gatherings. Its role within the resort extends beyond everyday dining, making the space suitable for events where guests require an enclosed setting for meals, celebrations, social gatherings or organised group programmes. The restaurant serves local Ugandan cuisine and beverages, allowing food and drink service to be incorporated directly into functions held within the space. The restaurant can also form part of larger resort events, retreats and group experiences by combining indoor dining with access to the property's outdoor areas and recreational facilities.
The resort's gazebos provide covered outdoor spaces that can be incorporated into events, group gatherings and social functions. Their sheltered layout makes them useful for seated dining, refreshments, informal meetings and smaller group activities while keeping guests within the resort's outdoor environment. The gazebos can also support larger functions taking place across the gardens by providing designated areas for food service, guest seating, relaxation or breakout activities.
