Wallasey Civic Hall

Wallasey Civic Hall is an imposing and historically significant corporate venue space housed entirely within the Grade II*-listed Wallasey Town Hall building. Designed by architects Briggs, Wolstenholme, and Thornely in a free Neo-Grecian style, this monumental cream Stancliffe stone structure was initiated in 1914, served temporarily as a military hospital during the First World War, and officially opened its doors for local governance in 1920. Perched grandly on an elevated embankment overlooking the River Mersey, the facility accommodates high-profile civic meetings, regional municipal conferences, corporate general assemblies, private wedding functions, and public exhibitions. The Civic Hall delivers a flexible layout framework supporting a maximum indoor setup capacity of up to 370 standing guests or approximately 250 seated delegates for theatre-style lectures and presentations. Commuting corporate professionals can easily reach the civic complex via the M53 motorway by taking the A5139 (Dock Road) directly down towards the waterfront frontages on Brighton Street. Alternatively, rail users can disembark at Wallasey Village or Seacombe Ferry terminal before completing a brief local taxi connection, while delegates arriving by car can utilize the secure parking infrastructure provided along the municipal campus.
