Owston Hall Hotel is a historic country-house hotel and golf resort located just outside Doncaster in South Yorkshire, close to the North Yorkshire border and approximately five minutes from the A1(M). The current hotel describes the building as a 17th-century country house, set within approximately 147 acres of parkland and an 18-hole golf course. Its current meetings offering accommodates groups from 2 to 100 delegates, while its wedding operation markets celebrations for up to 120 guests. Private dining is also available, with several dedicated rooms ranging from intimate gatherings of 10 people to larger private dinners of up to 48. The principal function room is the Marlborough Suite, which can seat up to 100 guests and includes sufficient space for a buffet and bar. Smaller rooms include the Chartwell Room, De Lacey Room and Yarborough Room, each providing a different level of intimacy. Owston Hall also provides 32 en-suite bedrooms, free Wi-Fi, substantial on-site parking, in-house dining and access to its extensive estate and golf facilities. The Marlborough Suite is Owston Hall's largest dedicated function room and is located on the ground floor of the original manor. It can seat up to 100 guests comfortably and has a wooden floor suitable for dancing. The room also has space for a buffet and bar, making events largely self-contained.
The De Lacey Room is a first-floor private dining room overlooking the Owston Hall Golf Course. Its bright, airy character and open fireplace provide an elegant setting for private dinners and smaller celebrations. It can accommodate up to 48 guests for a private dinner and works particularly well for formal dining.
The Chartwell Room is a ground-floor private dining and event room featuring large shuttered windows, natural light, elegant cornicing and period artwork. Its intimate scale makes it suitable for private dinners, small corporate functions, celebrations and family gatherings, while its ground-floor location provides convenient access for many guests.
The Yarborough Room is a first-floor private dining room overlooking the adjacent golf course. Its single large banqueting table creates an intimate environment for family gatherings, small celebrations and private dinners. With a maximum of 10 guests, it is best suited to very small groups rather than larger meetings or receptions.
