Doncaster Golf Club

Doncaster Golf Club is an established private members' golf club located on Bawtry Road in Bessacarr, on the southern outskirts of Doncaster. Founded in 1894 and established at its present location since 1909, the club combines an established heathland and parkland golf course with a modern clubhouse. The clubhouse opened in 1992 and includes balconies overlooking the first tee and 18th green. Although primarily a golf facility, Doncaster Golf Club also operates as a corporate, function and private-event venue. The club specifically welcomes corporate guests and offers the ability to combine business meetings, functions or seminars with golf. Its clubhouse facilities include comfortable rooms for different-sized groups, internet access and projection capability. The principal published function capacity is 120 people for lunch or dinner, making the venue appropriate for medium-sized private functions, corporate meals, celebrations and society events. The club also provides full catering, allowing organisers to arrange food as part of their event. The setting is particularly suited to events where a relaxed golf-club environment is preferred over a conventional hotel or dedicated conference centre. Corporate team-building days, client entertainment, seminars, business meetings, golf societies, lunches, dinners and private functions are all possible uses.
