Bawtry Hall is an elegant Grade II* listed country house and exclusive-use event venue located in the historic market town of Bawtry, close to the Yorkshire–Nottinghamshire border and Doncaster. Constructed in 1778 by Pemberton Milnes, the red-brick property combines historic architecture with contemporary event styling. Its distinctive Tuscan porch, landscaped gardens, woodland, chandeliers, ornate mirrors and reclaimed oak flooring create a formal but flexible setting for weddings, celebrations and business events. The Hall is available for exclusive hire, meaning an event can be organised privately without another wedding or function taking place simultaneously. Its facilities include several event rooms, a private bar, Peake Lounge, reception area, outdoor grounds and dedicated catering and event-management services. The venue can accommodate different event formats, with the current floor-plan showing capacities of up to 120 for dinner in the Wesley Room. Bawtry Hall is particularly well suited to weddings, offering both indoor ceremony rooms and an outdoor ceremony setting around its landscaped grounds. The Wesley Room is Bawtry Hall's largest published permanent event room. It accommodates up to 100 theatre-style, 80 cabaret and 120 for dinner according to the current floor plan. For weddings, the room can accommodate up to 120 guests and features large bay windows, ornate mirrors, chandeliers and a restored fireplace.
The Dining Room accommodates up to 80 theatre-style, 64 cabaret and 80 for dinner according to Bawtry Hall's published floor plan. It is particularly appropriate for corporate dining, private meals, smaller conferences and formal celebrations. Its combination of dining and meeting functionality makes it one of the venue's more versatile rooms.
The Mayflower Room is a flexible medium-sized event space accommodating 50 theatre-style, 40 cabaret and 50 for dinner. It is appropriate for smaller conferences, meetings, workshops, private dining and breakout activities. It forms part of the venue's main event-room configuration.
Bawtry Hall offers an outdoor ceremony setting around its Tuscan porch, surrounded by landscaped lawns and greenery. It provides an alternative to the indoor Wesley and Drawing Rooms and is especially suited to summer weddings and photographs.
