Shoreditch Town Hall is a distinctive Grade II listed setting for events in the heart of East London. Our building combines Victorian civic architecture with flexible spaces for conferences, corporate events, weddings, dinners, receptions, performances, product launches and creative productions. Our largest space, the Assembly Hall, features high ceilings, Italian marble panels, a Matcham-style balcony and full production capabilities, while the Council Chamber and Mayor’s Parlour offer more intimate settings. Our three Committee Rooms provide flexible meeting, rehearsal and breakout facilities, and our atmospheric basement, The Ditch, offers a very different setting with original exposed brickwork, pipes, fireplaces and interconnected rooms. We also provide in-house production services covering sound, lighting, video, staging and technical support. Several areas have step-free access, with accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities available. As a charity and cultural venue, income from our commercial hires supports our wider artistic and community work in Hackney and beyond.

Assembly Hall

We provide the Assembly Hall as our largest and most grand event space, with high ceilings, Italian marble panels, a Matcham-style balcony, raised stage and full production capabilities.

The Ditch

We provide The Ditch as our atmospheric basement space, comprising more than a dozen interconnected rooms with exposed brickwork, pipes, fireplaces and original features.

Council Chamber

We provide the Council Chamber as our most architecturally significant ground-floor room, featuring an ornate moulded ceiling, columns and stained-glass windows.

Large Committee Room

We provide the Large Committee Room as the largest of our three interconnecting Committee Rooms, with natural daylight, period features and an elegant ceiling.

Medium Committee Room

We provide the Medium Committee Room as a flexible meeting and rehearsal space with natural daylight and private access through our Committee Room corridor.

Small Committee Room

We provide the Small Committee Room as an intimate meeting and breakout space, suitable for presentations, away-days, conferences and smaller corporate events.

Mayor’s Parlour

We provide the Mayor’s Parlour as a bright, intimate room with stained-glass windows and a fireplace. It can also connect directly with the Council Chamber.
