Located in Little Venice, The Amadeus is a former Welsh Presbyterian chapel that has been transformed into a versatile dry-hire events venue while retaining distinctive original features, including stained-glass windows, a wood-panelled balcony and a historic pipe organ. We offer two main halls that can be hired individually or together, giving organisers flexibility for weddings, parties, rehearsals, corporate events, workshops, filming and other gatherings. The Upper Hall is filled with natural light and features elegant Victorian architecture and a balcony, while the Lower Hall offers a more intimate setting with a vaulted ceiling, columns and polished hardwood flooring. We provide useful in-house facilities including chairs, tables, PA systems, music stands, pianos, Wi-Fi and lighting. Our dry-hire approach also allows clients to bring in their own caterers, entertainers, furniture and other suppliers. We are within a short walk of Warwick Avenue station and around 15 minutes from Paddington station.
The Upper Hall is our larger and more formal space, with stained-glass windows, natural daylight, a wood-panelled balcony, elegant Victorian architecture and a historic pipe organ. We accommodate up to 160 seated guests or 180–200 for receptions.
The Lower Hall provides our more intimate event setting, with a charming brick-vaulted ceiling, sleek columns and polished hardwood flooring. We accommodate up to 100 guests and provide a flexible environment for receptions, rehearsals, classes, book events and wedding celebrations.
