Our Sadler’s Wells Theatre is a contemporary performing arts and events venue in Angel, north London, with a 1,500-seat tiered auditorium. We provide a flexible setting for conferences, artistic productions, performances, fashion shows, awards, product launches, filming and photography. Our auditorium is supported by advanced theatre technology, including professional sound, lighting and flying systems, while dressing rooms and additional foyer and reception areas can be used for catering, entertainment or breakout activities. We also offer smaller event spaces within the Sadler’s Wells site, including the Lilian Baylis Studio and modern meeting rooms. Our events team provides dedicated event management, supported by in-house technical staff and catering. Across our event spaces, we provide integrated AV, air conditioning, natural light and fast Wi-Fi. We can also support hybrid events and a range of private and corporate functions.
Our main theatre is a tiered auditorium accommodating up to 1,500 people. It is suitable for large conferences, performances, presentations, awards and fashion shows, with professional sound and lighting facilities.
Our Lilian Baylis Studio is an intimate and flexible studio theatre accommodating up to 180 theatre-style or 200 standing. Its retractable seating allows the space to be adapted for receptions, performances, conferences and award ceremonies.
Our Dorfman Room is a flexible event room accommodating up to 100 theatre-style, 180 standing or 80 for dinner. It provides a bright setting for meetings, receptions, workshops, filming and private events.
Our Kahn is a modern meeting and event room for smaller groups, accommodating up to 40 theatre-style or 50 standing. It is equipped with integrated AV, Wi-Fi and technical support.
Our Pina Bausch Room is a smaller meeting and event space for intimate gatherings. It accommodates up to 30 theatre-style, 40 standing or 15 for dinner.
Our Mezzanine provides an additional event and reception area, accommodating up to 280 standing or 120 for a seated dinner. It can be used for catering, receptions and supporting activities alongside other spaces.
