Cragwood Country House Hotel is our Edwardian country house set on the shores of Lake Windermere, surrounded by 20 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and woodland. We offer a distinctive lakeside setting for weddings and intimate celebrations, with elegant indoor spaces and beautiful outdoor locations throughout our grounds. Our private jetty, boathouse, garden gazebo and lakeshore provide memorable settings for ceremonies, photographs and special moments. We offer exclusive-use wedding packages, allowing couples and their guests to enjoy the hotel and landscaped gardens privately for their celebration. Our wedding team works closely with each couple to help plan the ceremony, reception, dining and other details of the day. For smaller celebrations, our ‘Just Us’ package provides an intimate wedding experience for two, with ceremonies available in our Library, Garden Gazebo or unique Lakeshore setting. We can also arrange private cruises on Lake Windermere from our own jetty, creating an additional experience for couples and their guests.
