The Fairway is a hotel and conference/events venue located on Elmhirst Lane in Dodworth, Barnsley, close to Junction 37 of the M1 motorway. The venue combines hotel accommodation, restaurant and bar facilities with dedicated conference, meeting and banqueting spaces. It has traditionally been marketed as The Fairway and Bluebell Conference & Banqueting Suite, with the venue designed to accommodate both large functions and smaller business meetings. The principal event facility is the Bluebell Conference and Banqueting Suite, a purpose-built function space that has historically been advertised at up to 220 guests. Published venue specifications give it theatre, classroom, cabaret, banquet and U-shaped configurations. The smaller Fairway Meeting Room is designed for presentations, interviews, training sessions and smaller meetings, with a published maximum of 48 theatre-style.
