Handel Hendrix House brings together two remarkable London residences in the heart of Mayfair: George Frideric Handel's home at 25 Brook Street and Jimi Hendrix's former flat at 23 Brook Street. We offer an intimate setting for dinners, drinks receptions, private tours, recitals, live music, filming and photography. Our Grade I listed 18th-century townhouse combines historic Georgian interiors with the unique atmosphere of the rooms where Handel lived and worked, while Hendrix's restored bedroom provides a connection to London's 1960s music history. We can host standing events for up to 100 guests across the whole house, while our individual rooms provide more intimate settings, including a dining capacity of 22 in Handel's Parlours and reception capacities of 70 in the Dining Room and 50 in Hendrix's bedroom. We work in exclusive partnership with RBMH Event Design for food, wine and service. Our central Mayfair location, historic interiors and musical heritage create a distinctive setting for intimate private and corporate events.
We provide Handel's Dining Room as one of our most elaborate historic spaces, retaining its Georgian character and an 18th-century playable harpsichord. It is particularly suited to intimate receptions and gatherings.
We provide Jimi Hendrix's restored bedroom as a distinctive setting for drinks parties and receptions. The room forms part of the Hendrix Flat and reflects the space where Hendrix lived, entertained, rehearsed and composed.
We provide Handel's Parlours as an intimate historic setting overlooking Brook Street. The Fore Parlour originally served as a reception area for Handel's visitors and today can accommodate seated dinners, standing receptions and intimate concerts.
