Yorkshire Wildlife Park is one of the most unusual event and conference venues in the Doncaster area, combining a major wildlife attraction with modern business facilities, outdoor event areas and residential accommodation. Located at Hurst Lane, Auckley, the park is approximately five minutes from Junction 3 of the M18 and has convenient connections to the A1, M1 and Doncaster railway station. Free on-site parking is available. For corporate events, the venue now includes Hex Connect, a purpose-built conference facility within The Yorkshire Hive, immediately adjacent to the Hex Wildlife Hotel. Hex Connect contains the Darwin and Attenborough suites, with the Attenborough Suite capable of accommodating up to 200 delegates theatre-style. The facility provides modern AV, connectivity, natural daylight and a decked outdoor area overlooking the Maned Wolf reserve. Within the wildlife park itself, event spaces include the Outlook Suite, Tsavo Lodge, Tsavo Lawns, Caramba Gardens, Safari Café and associated outdoor areas. These spaces can accommodate conferences, weddings, private parties, corporate hospitality, team-building events, dinners, BBQs and product demonstrations. The venue's defining advantage is the ability to combine conventional business meetings with wildlife experiences. Corporate packages can include ranger-led tours, animal feeds and talks, creating an experience that is difficult to replicate in a standard hotel conference centre.
The Darwin Suite is one of two purpose-built conference rooms within Hex Connect at The Yorkshire Hive. Designed for smaller conferences, training sessions and workshops, it benefits from natural daylight, modern AV infrastructure and convenient access to the Hex Wildlife Hotel. It can also support wedding ceremonies in selected packages.
The Attenborough Suite is the largest dedicated conference room within Hex Connect. The modern, naturally lit space is designed for conferences, presentations, corporate dinners and larger events. It has contemporary AV and connectivity and access to the external deck overlooking the Maned Wolf reserve, giving delegates an unusual wildlife setting.
The Outlook Suite is a private meeting and event space within Yorkshire Wildlife Park offering views across the park. Its natural-light setting makes it suitable for focused conferences, meetings, workshops and weddings. It is also licensed for ceremonies and can accommodate up to 100 wedding guests according to the current wedding information.
Tsavo Lodge is an African-inspired marquee event space within Yorkshire Wildlife Park. It features a stage, bar and kitchen and is designed for conferences, weddings, parties, team-building events, dinners and celebrations. Its surrounding lawns and tropical planting create a distinctive setting, while its flexible layout supports large-scale functions.
Situated right outside the main gates, The Yorkshire Hive is a free-admission entertainment and retail promenade. This sprawling cultural space hosts artisan markets, pop-up festive experiences, and major community gatherings, entirely flanked by boutique independent shops, themed dining spaces, and the local resort hotel.
The Ocean Base Camp Room is a themed small-group event and meeting space within Yorkshire Wildlife Park. It is designed around an ocean/deep-sea theme and can be used for meetings, parties and activity-based events. The room includes tables, chairs, self-service refreshments and complimentary water.
The Desert Base Camp Room is a themed small-group venue within Yorkshire Wildlife Park. It provides tables and chairs, self-service tea and coffee and a drinks fridge with complimentary water. The room can be used for meetings, parties or as a themed base for wildlife-park activities and is available as an add-on.
The Safari Café at Yorkshire Wildlife Park features a rustic, industrial brick interior alongside a wide outdoor seating terrace sheltered by a large tensile shell canopy. Located near the park's main entrance village, it serves a popular traditional afternoon tea, freshly made-to-order lunches, hot paninis, and specialty coffee.
