National Theatre

Set on London’s South Bank beside the River Thames, our National Theatre provides a distinctive setting for cultural, corporate and private events. Our Grade II* listed building combines Sir Denys Lasdun’s celebrated Brutalist architecture with flexible contemporary event facilities and panoramic views across London. Alongside our three theatres, we offer event spaces that can be adapted for conferences, meetings, receptions, dinners, weddings, filming, photography and large-scale celebrations. The Buffini Chao Deck gives guests an elevated riverside setting with a private terrace, while the Foyle Room provides a more intimate environment for meetings and presentations. Our restaurants and bars add further options for dining and informal gatherings, including Lasdun and The Understudy. We support events with professional technical facilities, audiovisual equipment, lighting, catering and experienced event teams. Accessibility is also built into the visitor experience, with lifts, level-access routes, wheelchair spaces, accessible toilets and hearing-assistance systems.
