The Wordsworth

Set in the heart of Grasmere, we offer a welcoming Lake District setting surrounded by iconic fells, peaceful lakes and scenic walking routes. Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, we are being thoughtfully reimagined to provide a refreshed pub-with-rooms experience while retaining the character of this much-loved property. Our accommodation will include 56 bedrooms, with options ranging from double and twin rooms to accessible rooms, suites and superior rooms with terraces overlooking Grasmere and the surrounding fells. We provide a bar and lounge, spacious beer garden, free parking, complimentary Wi-Fi and dog-friendly accommodation. For occasions, we offer inviting indoor spaces, an outdoor terrace and flexible food and drink packages suitable for birthdays, family gatherings and bringing colleagues together. Our location places guests close to Grasmere village, Grasmere Lake, walking routes, Wordsworth-related attractions and local tearooms.
