The Langdale Estate

Set in 35 acres in the heart of Great Langdale, we provide a distinctive Lake District setting combining accommodation, meetings, weddings, dining, leisure and spa experiences. Our estate includes the Langdale Hotel, self-catering properties, Brimstone Spa, Stove Restaurant & Bar and Wainwrights' Inn, giving guests a choice of places to stay, eat, relax and socialise. For business events, our three dedicated meeting rooms provide flexible spaces for small and medium-sized meetings, training sessions, presentations and corporate gatherings, supported by natural daylight, audiovisual equipment, catering and on-site leisure facilities. We also offer opportunities for team-building and outdoor learning within the estate and surrounding landscape. For weddings, we provide indoor ceremony settings, an outdoor Lakeland stone gazebo and wedding facilities capable of hosting a wedding breakfast for up to 90 guests. Our location combines peaceful woodland surroundings with access to walking, biking, climbing and other outdoor activities, creating a versatile environment for business events, celebrations, retreats and memorable Lake District stays.
