Based on Kings Crescent Estate in North-East London, Hackney Showroom combines an independent theatre, civic arts space and flexible venue for private and community events. Our venue has two main hire spaces, allowing us to accommodate everything from small workshops and training sessions to parties, conferences and ticketed events. The larger Big Space can accommodate up to 60 guests for parties or up to 80 for ticketed events, while our Studio accommodates up to 20 seated or 25 standing. Both spaces are equipped for practical event use, with lighting, sound and projection facilities available. We are fully wheelchair accessible and provide step-free access throughout the venue, accessible toilet facilities, a kitchen, temporary event bar and seating. Our spaces can support rehearsals, meetings, presentations, workshops, filming, fashion shows, dinners, wedding receptions, drinks parties and children's events. We also offer event management, catering, technical support, design and box-office services, making the venue adaptable for both private and public-facing activities.
Our Big Space is our larger event area, suitable for parties, shows, rehearsals and public-facing events. We can accommodate up to 60 seated or standing for parties and up to 80 for ticketed events, with lighting, sound and projection equipment.
Our Studio is a smaller flexible space suited to wellbeing sessions, fitness classes, training, workshops and private events. We accommodate up to 20 seated or 25 standing, with a portable PA and projector.
