Chats Palace

Chats Palace is an inclusive arts centre and grassroots music venue in the heart of Hackney, housed in a Grade II-listed building with a distinctive history and character. Our flexible spaces support a wide range of activities, from meetings, conferences and workshops to theatre, live music, rehearsals, filming, parties and receptions. Our black-box Theatre can be adapted for different performance and event formats, while our Library Bar provides a welcoming space for smaller gatherings, refreshments and socialising. We also offer a Blue Room for meetings, interviews and workshops and a Studio with natural light and heritage features for rehearsals and creative work. Our professional team is available to help with event setup, and we can provide technical support and equipment where required. We are committed to accessibility, with step-free access to the ground floor, Theatre and Library Bar, alongside accessible facilities. Located close to Homerton Overground, we provide a distinctive and flexible East London setting for creative, professional and community events.
