Our venue occupies the Grade II* listed Law Society building at 113 Chancery Lane, where historic architecture is combined with modern event facilities. We offer nine event spaces, ranging from the grand Common Room and Reading Room to smaller meeting rooms and our Six Clerks restaurant and bar. Our spaces are suitable for conferences, meetings, seminars, award ceremonies, weddings, private dinners, receptions, exhibitions, filming and photography. The Common Room provides our largest event capacity, accommodating up to 280 guests for a theatre-style event or reception and 200 for a banquet. We also offer in-house catering through Six Clerks and a dedicated events team to support planning and delivery. Several rooms have built-in AV, screens, sound systems, Wi-Fi and hybrid-event facilities. Our central Chancery Lane location, distinctive legal heritage and range of interconnected spaces make the building suitable for both large formal occasions and smaller private gatherings.

The Reading Room
Price on requestOur Reading Room combines a vaulted ceiling, gilded gallery and historic books with modern event facilities. It accommodates up to 210 guests for a reception, 120 theatre-style or 100 for a banquet.
The David Lloyd George
Price on requestOur David Lloyd George Room provides an intimate setting for meetings, presentations, dinners and weddings. It accommodates up to 100 guests for a reception, 65 theatre-style or 60 for a banquet.
The Holden
Price on requestOur Holden Room is suited to smaller events, intimate dinners, board meetings and breakout sessions. It accommodates up to 40 guests for a reception or theatre-style event and includes an ante-chamber for catering.
Strand, Fleet and Bell Suites
Price on requestOur Strand, Fleet and Bell Suites can be hired individually or combined into one interconnected event space. Together, the suites accommodate up to 150 guests for a reception, 140 theatre-style or 100 for a banquet.
The Council Chamber
Price on requestOur Council Chamber is designed for conferences, presentations and seminars, with tiered seating for up to 100 delegates. Every seat has power and a microphone, while an adjoining breakout room provides additional event space.
The Old Bookshop
Price on requestOur Old Bookshop provides a smaller setting for board meetings, workshops, training and intimate dinners. It accommodates up to 40 guests for a reception or theatre-style event and includes a screen and projector.
The Robert Bourns Suite
Price on requestOur Robert Bourns Suite provides flexible space for meetings, seminars, workshops, breakout sessions and receptions. It can be divided into two meeting rooms or opened into one larger space, with capacity for up to 100 guests for a reception.
Six Clerks
Price on requestOur Six Clerks restaurant and bar provides a contemporary setting for private dining, networking, receptions and celebrations. It accommodates up to 120 guests for a reception or 70 for a banquet and has a dedicated bar.
