Stockton Globe is a restored Grade II listed Art Deco entertainment venue situated on Stockton High Street in Stockton-on-Tees. Originally opened in 1935, the building has a long history as a cinema and theatre and has hosted major performers and touring productions. After a major restoration funded by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund, it reopened in September 2021 and is now operated by ATG Entertainment as its flagship UK music and comedy venue. The principal venue is the Globe Auditorium, which has flexible audience configurations and a published capacity of up to 3,000. Its stalls seating can be removed, allowing the venue to accommodate both fully seated and partially standing events. It also has a full orchestra pit and lift, modern sound and lighting systems, and a restored 1935 Art Deco interior. The adjacent LINK is a separate contemporary café-bar and live entertainment space with a 200-person capacity. It is used for emerging artists, live music and smaller events. Beyond its normal performance programme, Stockton Globe actively offers venue hire for conferences, business meetings, awards nights, graduations, gala dinners, balls, parties, celebrations, workshops and location shooting. The venue also has several bars, including the LINK bar and the 1935 VIP Bar.
