Hexham Racecourse

Hexham Racecourse is our premier National Hunt horse racing and versatile events venue perched roughly 800 feet above sea level at High Yarridge in Hexham, Northumberland, England. As the county’s only racecourse, it is celebrated for its natural amphitheatre design, providing spectators with exceptional, wide-angle views of the undulating left-handed track and the scenic Tyne Valley countryside. Beyond its 15 annual jump racing fixtures held between March and December, the racecourse operates year-round as a dynamic events hub. Managed in partnership with the Newcastle Falcons events team, the venue offers diverse indoor and outdoor spaces for hire. These range from intimate private hospitality boxes to the panoramic Henderson Suite, accommodating up to 120 seated guests for weddings, conferences, and parties.
