The Old Timber Store

The Old Timber Store is our intimate wedding and events venue set within a historic railway arch on the Ropewalk at Maltby Street in Bermondsey. We have preserved the character of the original industrial setting, combining exposed brickwork, timber beams, seasonal florals and a warm, cosy atmosphere. Our space is particularly suited to intimate wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and small celebrations, with a ceremony capacity of 55 and an overall capacity of up to 60 people stated on our website. We provide chairs, lighting, heating, overhead floral decorations and microphones for vows and speeches as part of our venue offering. Our space is licensed for marriage and civil partnerships, and we offer exclusive use for events. We also provide on-site catering, while off-site catering is available Monday to Thursday. Located within Maltby Street Market, we offer a distinctive London setting surrounded by independent food and drink businesses. We are accessible, child-friendly and pet-friendly, with limited parking and drop-off facilities available.
