Tucked beneath the southern approach to Tower Bridge, our Engine Rooms offer an atmospheric setting surrounded by the original Victorian machinery that once powered the Bridge’s bascules. Our series of historic chambers combines an underground feel with a flexible event environment, making us particularly suited to intimate dinners, receptions, presentations, corporate events and celebrations. We retain the character of our 1886 engineering heritage while providing modern event facilities, including dynamic colour-changing LED lighting, an in-house PA system and multiple built-in screens. Our exclusive evening hire gives organisers private use of the space, while Social Pantry provides all event catering, from canapés and drinks receptions to seated dinners, bowl food and food stations. We can also support live music, DJs and event styling. Guests can engage with our history through information panels, and a Blue Badge guide can be arranged for events that want a deeper introduction to Tower Bridge and its engineering story.
