Browsholme Hall & The Tithe Barn brings together our historic family home, a beautifully restored 17th-century Tithe Barn and the surrounding Ribble Valley countryside. Browsholme Hall has been the home of the Parker family for more than 500 years, and we continue to welcome guests into an estate where history, family life and events come together. Our Tithe Barn gives us a distinctive setting for weddings, receptions and other celebrations, combining original flagstone floors and oak timber with modern sound, lighting and visual technology. We offer exclusive use, allowing each event to be shaped around the organiser's ideas rather than following a fixed format. Alongside the Barn, we have the Regency Drawing Room within the Hall and several outdoor settings, including our gardens, lakeside and parkland. We also provide on-site accommodation through our Woodland Glade and farm cottage, allowing guests to extend their stay. Our aim is to create events that feel personal, relaxed and closely connected to the character of Browsholme and the surrounding countryside.
We offer our Tithe Barn as the main event space, with its original flagstone floor, oak beams and high ceilings. We can accommodate up to 120 guests for a civil ceremony or seated reception and up to 180 guests for an evening reception. The Barn also incorporates modern sound, lighting and visual technology.
Our Regency Drawing Room is located within Browsholme Hall and provides a more intimate historic setting. We can host up to 60 guests for civil ceremonies, with the room featuring family portraits, a gilded chandelier, marble fireplace and furniture by Gillow of Lancaster.
Our Italian Steps provide another outdoor setting within the estate, giving couples an alternative location for an outdoor ceremony or photographs. The area forms part of the gardens and landscaped grounds surrounding Browsholme Hall.
