The Inn at Whitewell

The Inn at Whitewell is our historic rural inn on the banks of the River Hodder, surrounded by the fells and countryside of the Forest of Bowland. We offer a distinctive setting for exclusive weddings, private celebrations, group gatherings and corporate events. For weddings and parties, we provide exclusive use of the whole Inn, both inside and outside, together with all 25 bedrooms, allowing guests to enjoy the property privately. Our traditional marquee overlooks the River Hodder and includes access to a balcony and riverside garden with outdoor furniture and fire pits. Inside, our main dining room provides a more intimate setting, while our Gallery offers a dedicated meeting space overlooking the river. We are also known for our locally sourced food and extensive wine selection through our on-site vintner business. Our surrounding countryside provides opportunities for walking, fishing and other outdoor activities, making us suitable for both celebrations and residential corporate gatherings.
