The West Park Hotel is a stylish four-star boutique hotel situated on West Park overlooking Harrogate's famous Stray. The property combines contemporary accommodation with an award-winning restaurant, cocktail bar, private dining facilities and flexible spaces for business and social events. Its location makes it particularly attractive for smaller corporate gatherings, private dining, celebrations, launches and informal event programmes. The venue is particularly suited to events where atmosphere, food and hospitality are as important as formal conference infrastructure. Available event spaces include a dedicated function/meeting room with an outdoor terrace, private dining areas and smaller private spaces. The principal function room can accommodate up to approximately 50 people in some configurations, while other listings give larger capacities of up to 80 for the wider event facilities. The hotel has 25 boutique bedrooms, including eight suites, making it suitable for smaller residential events and gatherings requiring overnight accommodation.
This is the hotel's largest and most versatile indoor event space. The bright and stylish room features elegant neutral decor, wooden flooring, an integrated private bar, a working fireplace, and a baby grand piano. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent views and fill the room with natural light.
The private dining space is designed primarily around food-led events, celebrations and intimate gatherings rather than conventional conferences. It can accommodate different table arrangements and has historically been marketed for private dining, birthdays, showers, book launches and other social occasions, with catering provided by the hotel's restaurant.
The Archway is a smaller private area within the hotel's event offering. Historical hotel information describes it as suitable for an intimate gathering of up to approximately 20 people around one long table.
The West Park has outdoor hospitality areas that extend its event offering beyond the indoor rooms. The front alfresco dining area overlooks the Stray, while the rear courtyard provides a more intimate setting with heaters, heated seating and blankets. These spaces work particularly well for drinks, informal receptions and social events.
