Apothecaries’ Hall

Dating back to 1672, Apothecaries' Hall offers a distinctive historic setting in the heart of Blackfriars, just two minutes from Blackfriars station. Our Hall is the oldest Livery Hall in the City of London and retains many of its original features, giving every event a strong sense of history and character. We provide five event spaces that can be hired individually or together, allowing us to accommodate different types and sizes of occasions. The Great Hall is our largest space and works particularly well for dinners, receptions, presentations, lectures and conferences, while our Court Room and Parlour provide more intimate settings for meetings, seminars, workshops and private dining. Our Courtyard offers an attractive reception setting when the weather permits, and our Library provides a private environment for small meetings or conference breakout space. We regularly welcome professional, academic, charitable and commercial organisations, alongside private functions and celebrations.
