We welcome organisers to the Design Museum, a distinctive event venue on Kensington High Street overlooking Holland Park. Our Grade II* listed building combines striking contemporary interiors with the architectural character of the former Commonwealth Institute, creating an inspiring setting for corporate and private events. We offer a range of flexible spaces, from our dramatic triple-height Atrium and large exhibition gallery to our theatre-style auditorium, private lounges, meeting rooms and outdoor areas. These spaces can accommodate conferences, awards ceremonies, product launches, exhibitions, receptions, dinners and creative brand activations. Our event team works closely with organisers to plan each occasion, while our appointed catering partner provides tailored menus for corporate functions and private gatherings. Selected spaces feature integrated audiovisual facilities, natural daylight, views of Holland Park and flexible room configurations. We can also arrange exhibition access and additional design-related experiences, subject to availability. As a registered charity, we direct income generated through venue hire towards supporting our mission to help everyone understand the value of design.
