Newcastle Arts Centre is a multidisciplinary arts and event venue located on Westgate Road in central Newcastle upon Tyne. The Conference Room is the largest room in the Office & Studio Block. It contains tables and chairs, presentation equipment, a large screen and overhead projector facilities. Air conditioning and multiple power sockets make it suitable for conferences, training, presentations, workshops and business meetings.
Studio A is a flexible creative and meeting space with tables, chairs, a flat-screen TV and projector-screen facilities. Its three large windows provide natural light and ventilation. It is suitable for workshops, presentations, training, creative sessions and smaller meetings.
Studio B is a smaller flexible room with tables and chairs, a flat-screen TV and projector-screen facilities. Skylights provide natural light. It is suited to small workshops, meetings, training sessions and creative activities.
The Newcastle Arts Centre Small Meeting Room is a quiet, functional space perfect for private interviews, small team brainstorms, or counseling sessions. Located in the accessible Studio Block, it features flexible seating configurations, excellent natural light, high-speed Wi-Fi, and quick proximity to the main courtyard and amenities.
The Black Swan Venue is Newcastle Arts Centre's principal larger event space. It is split-level, has a raised 20 × 8 ft stage, PA and sound equipment, lighting facilities and seating for up to 120 theatre-style. Hiring the venue also includes exclusive use of the Black Swan Bar and Entrance Lounge, providing useful breakout and refreshment areas.
The Black Swan Bar provides a more informal environment, with tables and chairs for approximately 40 guests and additional seating available. It has a small performance stage, speakers, CD/AUX facilities, a TV and an entrance lounge that can be used for breakout or buffet space.
