Alexandra Palace is our landmark event, heritage and cultural destination in North London. We offer a remarkable combination of historic indoor spaces and extensive outdoor areas, allowing us to host events on a truly large scale. Our venue includes three principal multi-purpose spaces, six breakout rooms and 196 acres of parkland, with panoramic views across London. We welcome corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, sporting events, festivals, brand activations, filming and community gatherings. Our Great Hall, West Hall and Theatre provide flexible settings for different event formats, while our Ice Rink and Park give us additional options for sport and outdoor programming. We also provide in-house catering across the venue and dedicated event support. Accessibility is an important part of our operation, with step-free access available across many of our principal spaces and dedicated accessible facilities. As a charitable trust, we carefully assess event enquiries and focus on events that align with our charitable purpose and wider programme.
Our Great Hall is our largest principal event space, offering 6,426 sqm of pillar-free space. We can accommodate up to 10,250 standing, 7,000 seated or 5,000 for a banquet, making us suitable for major concerts, exhibitions, sporting events and large-scale gatherings.
Our West Hall provides 2,700 sqm of flexible, pillar-free event space. We accommodate up to 2,500 standing or seated guests and up to 1,800 for a banquet, giving us a versatile setting for exhibitions, conferences, sport and corporate events.
Our historic Theatre offers 474 sqm of event space and provides a more intimate setting within Alexandra Palace. We accommodate up to 1,000 standing, 850 seated or 300 for a banquet, making us suitable for performances, conferences and private functions.
Our Ice Rink gives us a distinctive 1,456 sqm space for sporting and entertainment events. We can accommodate 300 people on the rink, up to 1,000 with stands and standing, or 700 with seated stands.
Our Palm Court forms the impressive main entrance to the Great Hall and West Hall. We use this 540 sqm area as an important arrival and circulation space, with its position making it particularly useful alongside events taking place in our principal halls.
Our Park gives events access to 196 acres of surrounding parkland, including panoramic London views, a rose garden, boating lake and woodland areas. We provide a substantial outdoor setting for festivals, sport, concerts and other approved outdoor events.
Our Londesborough Room is one of our breakout spaces and is available when hiring the Great Hall or West Hall. We accommodate up to 200 standing, 170 seated or 130 for a banquet, providing useful additional event space.
Our Palace Suite is a second breakout space available alongside the Great Hall and West Hall. We accommodate up to 400 standing, 360 seated or 300 for a banquet, giving larger events additional flexible space.
