Tan Hill Inn

Tan Hill Inn is our historic country inn in the Yorkshire Dales, standing at 1,732 feet above sea level and recognised as Britain’s highest public house. We provide a distinctive rural setting for weddings, private celebrations, parties, live music and team-building events, combining traditional character with modern event facilities. Our restored Party Barn provides a flexible space for larger gatherings, with a bar, underfloor heating and wood-burning stove. The inn also offers accommodation, dining, camping and outdoor space, making it suitable for events where guests want to stay on site. Our remote position on the Pennine Moors gives events a particularly private countryside setting, while the historic building retains stone floors, exposed beams, fireplaces and traditional pub character.
