Richmond Town Hall

We welcome guests to our Richmond Town Hall, a beautiful historic building located in the Market Place at the heart of Richmond, North Yorkshire. Dating from 1756, our Town Hall combines historic character with a practical setting for meetings, community activities, celebrations and civil ceremonies. Our Great Hall provides a welcoming environment with excellent ambience and acoustics, while the Old Courtroom offers a naturally bright setting for signing ceremonies and internal wedding photography. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests in the Hall. Our facilities also include disabled access and an accessible WC, helping us welcome a broad range of visitors. We make our main hall available for regular daytime and evening hire, while a smaller meeting room is also available for groups requiring a more intimate setting. Situated within Richmond’s historic Market Place, we provide a distinctive town-centre venue for weddings, meetings, community gatherings and other organised events.
