Set within historic County Hall on London’s South Bank, we provide a distinctive setting for meetings, celebrations and private events overlooking some of London’s best-known landmarks. Our event spaces combine the character of the historic building with practical facilities for modern gatherings, including natural daylight, audiovisual technology, Wi-Fi and professional event support. We can accommodate everything from intimate board meetings and training sessions to larger receptions, seminars, weddings and private dining events. Our King George V Room is our largest function room, while The Library provides a particularly spacious setting for receptions and social occasions. Several of our smaller rooms work well for executive meetings, workshops, brainstorming sessions and breakout activities. We also offer catering and dedicated planning support to help coordinate the event from start to finish. With the River Thames, Westminster and central London immediately around us, we provide a convenient setting for both corporate and social occasions.
Our King George V Room is our largest traditional function room, with natural daylight and historic character. It accommodates up to 100 guests in theatre or reception layouts and is suited to seminars, conferences, weddings and private events.
We provide the Herbert Morrison Room with natural daylight, wood panelling and original features including a marble fireplace. It works well for private dining, upscale meetings and events, accommodating up to 70 guests for receptions.
We offer The Library as our largest event space, with 188 square metres of room for larger gatherings. It accommodates up to 150 guests for receptions, 60 for banquets and 50 in theatre style, making it suitable for private dining, celebrations and receptions.
Our Noes Lobby provides 49 square metres of supporting event space and is designed primarily for receptions. It can accommodate up to 50 guests standing and can complement meetings or larger events held elsewhere.
Our Queen Mary Room combines wood panelling, original wooden floors and natural daylight. It is suitable for board meetings, intimate training sessions and pre-event activities, accommodating up to 50 guests for receptions.
We offer the Horace Cutler Room as a light and airy contemporary function space. It can be arranged in several layouts and accommodates up to 40 guests for theatre-style meetings or receptions.
We provide the William Wordsworth Room as a light, high-ceilinged space overlooking the courtyard. Integrated technology supports corporate and social events, with capacity for up to 40 guests in theatre or reception layouts.
Our dedicated Boardroom provides an executive setting with wood-panelled walls, natural daylight and ClickShare technology. It accommodates up to 20 guests in theatre or banquet layouts and is suited to meetings and private dinners.
We offer Leaders as a compact, flexible event room suitable for meetings, training and smaller gatherings. It accommodates up to 40 guests in theatre, reception or banquet configurations and can also support classroom-style events.
Our Francis Anderton Room overlooks a courtyard and includes its own private balcony. With natural daylight, it works well for brainstorming sessions and intimate family occasions, accommodating up to 30 guests.
We offer the Ralph Knott Room as a flexible meeting and event space with wood panelling and natural light. It accommodates up to 30 guests in theatre or reception layouts and 20 for dinner.
We offer the Lady Nathan Room as a compact supporting space beside our Boardroom. It accommodates up to 12 guests in theatre style and is particularly useful for breaks, lunches and pre-dinner drinks.
Our Westminster Suite provides 135 square metres of space for smaller private functions. It is listed for conference and banquet use, accommodating up to 14 guests and offering a more intimate setting within the hotel.
