KOKO has occupied a prominent place in Camden’s cultural scene since the building first opened as the Camden Theatre in 1901. Following its major restoration and redevelopment, we reopened in 2022 as a 50,000-square-foot live music and events venue. Our Grade II-listed theatre combines historic architectural features with modern production facilities, creating a flexible setting for both corporate and cultural events. The venue includes our main auditorium, private balconies, mezzanines, roof terrace and Secret Club, together with multiple bars. We can accommodate large standing receptions as well as theatre-style conferences, dinners and smaller private gatherings. Our in-house team can also support event production, filming, photography and livestreaming.
We provide our principal performance and event space, with the stage adaptable for live performances, dining, catwalks and other event configurations. Our auditorium forms the main setting for large-scale events at KOKO.
We provide an outdoor terrace that can accommodate up to 150 guests standing. The terrace offers an outdoor element to events and can be incorporated into wider KOKO hire.
We provide a private club-style space with its own DJ setup and bar. Our Secret Club is suitable for smaller private events, parties and more intimate gatherings.
