Linnels Farm / The Barn

Linnels Farm is our peaceful rural farm located just two miles from Hexham in Northumberland. We offer a beautiful countryside setting across 20 acres of meadows, woodland and courtyard gardens, with walks leading down to Devil’s Water. Our Barn provides comfortable accommodation with five double bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, together with a spacious first-floor open-plan living area full of character. Outside, we have plenty of parking, countryside views and an old gin gan pergola that provides a lovely setting for al fresco dining. During the colder months, our wood-burning stoves create a warm and cosy atmosphere, while our bi-fold windows allow guests to enjoy views across the surrounding countryside. Alongside our accommodation, we run a programme of cookery, gardening, floristry and creative courses with experienced tutors. Our farm also includes a shop selling gardening, culinary and gift products. We provide a relaxing rural base for guests who want to enjoy the Northumberland countryside while taking part in our courses or exploring the local area.
