Hexham Winter Gardens is our distinctive Victorian glasshouse venue in the heart of Hexham. We were originally constructed in 1907 as an extension to the former Tynedale Hydropathic Hotel, and today we form part of Queen Elizabeth High School's historic Grade II-listed site. Our light-filled glasshouse provides a quirky and characterful setting for wedding ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and celebrations, while our adjoining Hydro Hall gives couples a contrasting wood-panelled space with a stage for evening entertainment. We offer a flexible, DIY-style approach, allowing couples to bring their own decorations, furniture, food and drinks and create a celebration that reflects their personality. Our wedding package combines the Winter Gardens and Hydro Hall, giving guests access to both spaces during the day. We also have outdoor areas where guests can relax, alongside on-site parking. With our central Hexham location, guests can easily access the town's accommodation, restaurants, shops and historic attractions.

Our Hydro Hall is a large wood-panelled room adjoining the Winter Gardens. We provide a permanent stage here, and the room can seat up to 80 guests. It can be used for different parts of the wedding day or evening.

Our outdoor areas include a large central quad with flower beds, seating and picnic benches, together with mature trees and green spaces throughout the grounds. These areas give guests space to relax outdoors.
