At Wax Chandlers’ Hall, we offer a distinctive event venue in the heart of the City of London, at 6 Gresham Street. Our Hall stands on a historic site that has been owned by the Worshipful Company of Wax Chandlers since 1501, giving us a setting with more than 500 years of history. We have a warm and intimate atmosphere, while our recently refurbished interior provides a well-appointed setting for modern events. We offer three rooms across two floors, allowing us to accommodate different event requirements and group sizes. Our spaces can be hired individually or together, making us suitable for receptions followed by formal meals. We welcome lunches, dinners, conferences, corporate events and executive hospitality. We can accommodate up to 68 guests for lunches or dinners and up to 100 guests for a stand-up reception. Our location also gives guests convenient access to the City, with St Paul’s and Bank stations only a few minutes away.
The Livery Hall is one of our three principal event spaces. We offer this room as part of our historic Wax Chandlers’ Hall, providing an elegant setting for formal meals, receptions, conferences and corporate hospitality. We can also combine it with our other rooms when a larger or multi-stage event requires additional space.
Our Court Room provides a more formal setting within Wax Chandlers’ Hall. We offer it for meetings, corporate gatherings and intimate events, and it can be hired independently or combined with our other rooms to create a more flexible event arrangement.
The Parlour is one of our smaller event spaces, giving us an option for more intimate gatherings. We can offer it separately or alongside our Livery Hall and Court Room, allowing us to accommodate different event formats and requirements.
