The Penguin Room

At The Penguin Room, we offer an intimate and distinctive private-hire venue beneath Bar Social on Lavender Hill in Battersea, London. Our basement space is designed for celebrations and gatherings where guests can enjoy their own bar, music and a lively atmosphere. We accommodate up to 80 guests standing, making us suitable for birthday parties, engagement celebrations, corporate events, leaving parties and other special occasions. Our dedicated bartenders serve cocktails and other drinks, while our private-hire arrangements include a doorman and guest wristbands. We also allow organisers to play their own music through USB or Bluetooth or arrange their own DJ. For celebrations, we welcome cakes and cupcakes, and we offer buffet and sharing-platter options. Our location near Clapham Junction makes us convenient for guests travelling across London.
