Hackney Town Hall is a Grade II listed Art Deco venue situated on Mare Street in East London. Opened in 1937, we combine historic architecture with contemporary facilities to provide a distinctive setting for corporate events, conferences, meetings, wedding ceremonies and receptions. Our venue offers five principal event-space options, including two glass-roofed atria, the Assembly Rooms, Committee Rooms and the Council Chamber. The Assembly Rooms can accommodate up to 420 guests in theatre-style seating, while the atria each hold up to 200 guests in standing or theatre layouts. Our interiors feature original wood panelling, striking architectural details and generous natural light. We provide Wi-Fi, audiovisual equipment options, flexible room configurations and event coordination. Catering and bar services are available through approved suppliers, and accessibility provisions support a range of guests. Located close to Hackney Central station, we offer a characterful civic setting for professional gatherings and memorable celebrations.
