Stirk House is our historic 17th-century manor house set within 22 acres of beautiful Ribble Valley countryside. We combine historic character with contemporary hotel, wedding and business facilities, making us suitable for everything from intimate celebrations to large receptions and conferences. Our grounds include gardens, ancient woodland and extensive countryside views, while our 33 bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation for guests staying with us. We have a dedicated Weddings and Events Team who work with couples, businesses and organisers to tailor our spaces and arrangements to their requirements. For weddings, we offer indoor and outdoor ceremony options, intimate packages and a spectacular Ballroom capable of accommodating up to 250 guests. For corporate events, our flexible function rooms can accommodate meetings and conferences ranging from small groups to large gatherings. We also have our Seasons Restaurant, on-site dining, complimentary Wi-Fi and a large free car park.
Our Ballroom is our largest function space and can accommodate up to 250 people. We provide a dedicated bar, stage and dancefloor, making it suitable for large wedding receptions, conferences, awards events, dinners and other major gatherings.
Our Gallery Suite provides a more intimate setting for ceremonies, weddings, meetings and smaller events. It is licensed for up to 113 guests for indoor ceremonies.
In addition to its functional aspects, the Pendle Suite also provides comfort and convenience. The spacious layout allows for easy movement and comfortable seating arrangements, ensuring that attendees can fully focus on your event.
Our TV Room is a quieter meeting space overlooking the lounge. We can arrange it in boardroom, theatre or U-shaped layouts, making it particularly useful for smaller meetings and conferences.
We have two outdoor areas approved and licensed for civil ceremonies, allowing couples to exchange vows within our 22-acre estate. We also maintain an indoor contingency arrangement through the Gallery Suite in case outdoor conditions are unsuitable.
