Tallow Chandlers’ Hall

With a history dating back to the seventeenth century, Tallow Chandlers’ Hall offers a distinctive setting for events in the heart of the City of London. Our historic venue blends traditional architecture with practical facilities for contemporary gatherings. The main Hall features oak panelling, heraldic stained-glass windows and historic paintings, creating an elegant backdrop for formal dinners, receptions and special occasions. Our seventeenth-century Parlour provides a more intimate setting for private dining and smaller gatherings, while the original Court Room offers a characterful space for meetings. During the summer, our secluded courtyard, restored in 2021 and decorated with olive trees and floral displays, provides an outdoor setting for drinks receptions. We offer internet access, cloakroom facilities and support for standard audiovisual equipment. Our catering partner, Life’s Kitchen, works closely with our team to provide food and service for events. Conveniently located close to Cannon Street station, the Hall offers a historic atmosphere in a central London location
